Autism... What's Next?
As a mum of an autistic child, I have first hand experience of the process leading to diagnosis. There is the apprehension and self-doubt that creeps in, perhaps you have been imagining it all along, or maybe no-one will believe the challenges that you are having.
Then there is the expectation that when you get that diagnosis, everything will change. Unfortunately, the diagnosis just confirms whether your child is, or is not autistic. Then you are left to go on the journey by yourself.
...Does this sound familiar?
If so, join me in, Autism... whats next? Group and 1-2-1 sessions coming to your local area soon.

Empower
Growth through Guidance...
We purposely call it guidance. There is no right or wrong answer, and if you are only looking for answers you will remain in the loop of What's Next?
Everyone is different and this is aimed at supporting you to navigate... What's Next? This is not about giving you the instruction manual to fix autism in your child.
Truthfully, there is no fix, and if you think there is, you need to ask; what is Autism? That is your first steps to supporting, and accepting them for who they are.
For every melt down of a sock that doesn't feel right; even though they have wore them 1000 times before. For every time they ask something that someone might scowl at you for. It is not about you and how it makes you feel. It is: Understanding them as the person, as the fun loving child with mixed emotions and not the fix you need for them.
Because there is nothing to fix! Guidance in managing emotions and helping them understand is what they need.
They are unique and this is their super power! They just need the guidance, love, and acceptance to navigate this world to help them understand, that everyone is different, and that is okay.
Join me on this journey, to discover what helps you. Be guided, and the guidance, of parents alike, who have a child with autism. Who lie awake at night, some nursing that bruise, some asking what am I doing wrong?
There are no costs for these sessions. We kindly ask that if come along, you purchase refreshments from the venues who have kindly supplied the space for us all to grow in.
I will be running "Autism... What Next?" courses, for more in-depth therapeutic input later in the year at; £50 per person, or £60 per couple.
